Credentialing Specialist

About the Role
As a Credentialing Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring our clinicians’ files meet Spire’s high standards and client-specific requirements. You’ll process and maintain credentialing files accurately and efficiently, helping our team deliver exceptional service and compliance.

What You’ll Do
-Ensure 100% compliance with client, state, and company credentialing standards
-Manage a high volume of credentialing files, including primary source verifications, background checks, and drug screenings
-Track and facilitate onboarding paperwork
-Review clinician documents for accuracy and completeness
-Provide consistent, clear communication with clinicians and internal teams about credentialing status
-Proactively notify clinicians of upcoming expirations
-Maintain updated records in Spire’s systems and client/VMS databases
-Meet targeted deadlines and performance metrics
-Foster positive, professional relationships with clinicians and team members
-Escalate issues when necessary and contribute to a collaborative, high-morale environment
-Perform additional duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For
-Minimum 1 year of credentialing experience in healthcare staffing
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online systems
-Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
-Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
-Excellent multitasking and time management abilities
-Comfort with extended periods of sitting, typing, and computer/phone use
