Spire Founder Michael Jacoutot Jr. Named to SIA’s 2026 Healthcare Staffing 100

Staffing Industry Analysts has named Michael Jacoutot Jr., Founder and Managing Partner of Spire, to its 2026 Healthcare Staffing 100, an annual list recognizing the most influential leaders in healthcare staffing.

The recognition follows a year in which Spire grew 16% year over year in 2025, even as the broader industry contracted. Michael credits that growth to investing in direct client relationships, developing recruiters and executing the fundamentals with discipline.

In his honoree profile, Michael shared the principles that guide Spire: own your niche and your geography before expanding service lines, and partner with clients who value long-term relationships. He also outlined the impact he hopes to make on the industry: moving healthcare staffing away from treating hospital staffing problems as recurring sales opportunities and toward lasting, data-driven partnerships that address root causes and improve patient care.

Asked about the best career advice he has received, Michael pointed to a simple rule: manage agreements. Staying tightly aligned with a predetermined set of agreements, he says, prevents most conflict before it starts.
