Spire Healthcare: Best of 2025 — A Year of Growth, Gratitude, and Exceptional Allied Travelers
As 2025 comes to a close, we’re reflecting on a year filled with meaningful progress, inspiring stories, and major steps forward for both our travelers and our facility partners. Above all, this year reminded us why we do what we do: to support the Allied professionals who bring expertise, compassion, and strength to healthcare settings across the country.
From educational resources to traveler success stories to expanded contract opportunities, here are the standout moments that defined Spire Healthcare in 2025.
1. First-Time Traveler Education Took Center Stage
Our First-Time Allied Traveler Guide became our most-read and most-referenced content of the year. Built specifically for clinicians considering their first travel assignment, the series broke down what new travelers often struggle to find clarity on — how stipends actually work, what orientation really feels like, navigating “sink or swim” environments, and building a healthy recruiter partnership.
This content established Spire as a trusted guide for clinicians at the very beginning of their travel journey and continues to serve as a cornerstone resource.
2. Major Market Shifts Across Allied Health
2025 brought meaningful movement across the Allied Health market, particularly in imaging and procedural specialties. Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, CT, MRI, and Radiation Therapy roles saw notable increases in demand across multiple regions.
Our market and pay trend insights helped travelers understand where growth was happening, why certain specialties surged, and how to plan assignments more strategically — giving them clearer visibility in an otherwise fast-moving market.
3. Celebrating and Spotlighting Our Allied Travelers
Some of the most impactful moments of the year came directly from our travelers. From first-time assignments to long-term Spire relationships, traveler stories reminded us why this work matters.
We leaned into recognition through features, testimonials, and celebrations like Allied Health Professionals Week — including custom Spire FIGS, surprise encouragement drops, and personal outreach. These moments reinforced community, appreciation, and the human side of travel healthcare.
4. In-Demand Specialties Defined the Year
A handful of specialties consistently shaped opportunity in 2025:
CT Technologists
Interventional Radiology Techs
Cath Lab Technologists
MRI Technologists
Radiation Therapists
These roles represented some of the strongest demand, most competitive contracts, and highest placement volume throughout the year — and all signs point to continued momentum heading into 2026.
5. Launching the Spire App & Improving the Traveler Experience
2025 also marked an important step forward in how we support travelers operationally with the launch of the Spire App. Designed to streamline communication, improve access to information, and simplify the travel experience, the app reflects our ongoing commitment to removing friction and supporting travelers beyond placement alone.
Alongside faster credentialing and improved onboarding workflows, this launch set the foundation for a more connected and efficient experience moving forward.
Looking Ahead to 2026
2025 was a year of progress, innovation, and meaningful connection. As we move into 2026, we’re committed to building on these moments by:
Expanding education for travelers
Strengthening facility relationships
Enhancing communication and support
Continuing to celebrate the people who make Spire exceptional
To every traveler, partner, and member of our team — thank you. Your dedication drives us forward every day.
Here’s to another year of growth, opportunity, and impact.
